Medical insurance billers/coders work to bill insurance companies for medical services rendered, and code individual patient diagnoses for payment requests from the patient’s insurance company. Administrative medical assistants manage the front desk operations in hospitals, physician offices, or medical facilities, freeing doctors and other medical staff to provide the highest level of care to patients.
